Christiane Nowak

German born, Chris has been living in Canberra for 5 months. She studied Product Design at Bauhaus University in Weimar and interned at BMW MINI design in the colour and trim design team.

‘Projects in the context of sustainability, user-centred design and functionality have always been of great interest to me. Facing new ways of looking at a problem leads to a greater understanding of the usage of technologies and materials. During the process of a new design it is fascinating when your virtual ideas and concepts come to life by developing them with your own hands. Working on models in a workshop, creating objects and redefining them again and again until they become perfect copies of your own imagination.’ Christiane Nowak
